Two raw metal objects as absract replicas of beetle passages as found in decaying trees. Referring to the constant transformation processes in forests, between growth and decease, over time the objects’ surface will undergo the same: due to oxidation and other environmental influences.

How to perceive mortality differently – by finding abstract secret pathways, ancient languages carved as memories into tree surfaces – small maps that mark another tiny universe of belonging before the cycle will shape them into something else.
